Rotax Max Challenge Malaysia:
Rotax Max ChallengeThis page serves as an info-point for the 2007 Rotax Max Challenge(RMC) Malaysian Karting Championship. You'll find the latest changes and links to race reports and the championship standings here. If you have any questions or are interested in racing in a series you can contact me through the contact form on this website, or you can contact the series organizers/promoters.

The Rotax Max Challenge Malaysia has been run in Malaysia since 2001. The main attraction of the series is that all competitors use the same engine, which is sealed by the Rotax representative to ensure that all engines are built the same and no cheating takes place. This provides for extremely close and enjoyable racing for competitors without having to worry about spending thousands of ringgit to modify your engine. All kart shops that carry rotax parts also sell them at the same price - so you know you're getting the parts for the same price no matter where you get your parts.

The other major attraction of the series is that the champion of each category is invited to take part in the Rotax Grand Finals, in which the champions from dozens of countries in which a Rotax Series is organized race each other to determine the year's Rotax Champions. In 2007 the final will be held in Dubai! Tyres in 2007 will be the Mojo tyres which have proven to offer consistent performance throughout a race weekened.

For drivers interested in racing in the 2007 championship be it only for a round or the entire series contact the organisers James Leong or Ray Kong at www.swisshutlessasiapac.com. They also have great arrive-and-drive packages available for you to take advantage of. You can also rent just the engine from them if you have your own chassis and want in on some rotax fun!
