About the Website

Welcome to "Karting Malaysia." Here to give everyone interested in karting all the information they need about karting in Malaysia-and the region. I also make an attempt to follow the accomplishments of drivers that race or used to race karts in Malaysia but also race international events either in karts or cars. Of course race series' such as the AKOC which has a round in Malaysia and the rest of the rounds elsewhere will be closely followed.

The website has sections for the tracks(which i know about or have been sent information about), the race calendar, info on the race meetings(regulations etc.), an image gallery, links, and a section for the beginner that is interested in karting tips or on getting started in the sport.

Who and Why?

The website has been coded and completely maintained by me, Mikko Nassi. I'm from Finland however I've been living and racing karts in Malaysia since 1999. At times i have far too much free time on my hands, so one day i decided to make a website about karting in Malaysia. I did so because there wasn't a single website with all the information I wanted. There was one for one set of races and tracks, and another for another set of races and tracks. There was also quite a bit of general info missing.

Updates: How Often?

I'll add race results and a short review if I was at the meeting at the earliest a few hours after the event but it could take a few days or more. Whether or not and how soon the latest results are up on KartingMalaysia.com depends largely on if the organizers have sent me the results.

Do you race in kart events? Send in your race reports, driver news, and pictures. I'm always glad to publish and relevant news. If you attend kart races as a parent or volunteer and you have a knack for writing KartingMalaysia.com is always happy for volunteers that would add content to the site.
